WHAT DOES THE BLOG NAME MEAN?

2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

We cannot avoid the affairs of life mentioned in Verse 4. But, we must be very sure that we do not become entangled in them. We must, through Christ and uncommon sense, master the affairs of life.

Hardness in Verse 3 is what we today call "hard times". So, good soldiers simply endure. Millions of saints and sinners have survived hard times before us. Have we learned from them, or will we repeat all the dumb choices? Hmmmmmmm

This blog is here to become a gathering place for survivors who use the King James Bible, common sense, wisdom from folks who have survived well in the past, and newbies to the grand age of terror now upon us.

I happen to believe that we NEED each other. Much effort seems to be made lately to make us distrust one another and accept the role of suspects. Big Nanny is nagging us around the clock. Alerts are flashing, DRUDGE dumps the dirt 24/7, and virtually every politician who has the glorious answer is a money grubber who sounds like every other politician that ever lied to us.

Is there hope?

If you do not care for Bible based wisdom or the advice of folks who are down home experts..... If you get your rush from Alex Jones, Glenn Beck, and Gush Limbaugh, then rush on after your next rush. You dare not sit still and think..... it might spoil that sweet ominous terror in your soul, right? You will not care for the good hope here.

Of course, we are in hard times, and the worst hard times may be just ahead.

But, a good soldier endures:

2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

If that sounds useful to you, and if you have some experience surviving, please join us, and leave your own observations in  the comment area. If you have a question, ask it, and I will try to run down an answer or alternative to the panic response now so popular.

Great! Point for research: A communication alternative if the Internet becomes out of reach to us peons.

Short wave?

CB radio?

Anything else?

Please also consider doing a "Do It Yourself" manual of sorts on Internet, DVD, CD and hard copy on preparedness and how to survive:

- Vegetable garden
- Livestock
- Growing herbs, fruits, grains and nuts
- Using non-hybrid seeds
- Storage
- Preservation of foods: Most modern means that are healthy. How to do it
- Making food products and items to consume for good health from the things you grow and raise
- Transport: What to use if price of fuel becomes prohibitive to drive vehicles?

Also: How can you get these things if you don't have money?

How can money be made to work with the aim of helping ourselves surive AND helping others, e.g. the poor, including in Africa, etc.?

In his book on taking risk, Dr. Ben Carson wrote of something that sounded like a new idea in the realm of making money work. It could have been what he employed in the financial aspect of his Carson Scholarship organisation.

Can you please find out what this is and if it can be made to work in starting up a charitable organisation: Helping ourselves and others survive and even prosper. It would be great to be able to generate enough money (will that be possible if the big crash comes?) to provide help for poor Africans.

Innovation: Excellent. Thank you for the Gerald Celente video. But how to do things - how to really get an alternative going to the devil and the wicked's worldly miasma -- without money and land? Is there a way of "getting there" with all this that we're not seeing at present?

Also, re. Celente on clean food: This is something that, by the grace of God and the wisdom He gives, Christians can hone in on and be actively involved in. If there'll be a great demand for food that's good, healthy, not too expensive, etc. then what can we do (Christians and non-Christians having moral values) together to supply this area? Can you please research this out? We need to know how to do it?

One idea: Can there be an organisation formed with membership of good businesses (those concerned about hot button issues today, including health) and individuals concerned about the same, where marketing is done to promote these businesses - i.e. "buy from these people because of X, Y and Z." What can be done to help them in the teeth of the Fascist death by a thousand cuts blitzkrieg that's unleashed against them and us all? Market them to the blinded masses that are also affected by the Beast's machinations.

Have a prayer aspect to this. I'm working on a suggestion for this. Reasons for prayer in this, what to pray for. If an organisation for businesses is formed, prayer could be offered for them. Wide participation from Bible believing born-again Christians (not Charismatics - but maybe a few exceptions with old line Pentys) sought.

Thanks for the recent Mike Ramey items too.

We need to get moving on this! Way to go! Amen!
